PUSHOVER 2010

So it looks like we'll be hitting up the annual PUSHOVER Festival here in Melbourne this weekend for the 2nd year in a row, which is amazing!! This is by far our favourite festival to be a part of so we can't WAIT to get up there and blast out some tunes for you guys on Sunday.

We're on at about 4.45pm on the Red stage!! Get ready to bang!

Behind 28 Crimson Days

....and so it begins

So we've officially begun the writing process for our 3rd full length album. We dabbled a bit here and there toward the end of last year, writing a few songs and demoing them in between tours, but now we're aiming to have the whole album written and ready to record by the end of April.

We'll also be announcing a national tour through May and June with some good friends of ours so stay tuned for THAT announcement real soon!

Shows and MORE shows!

Tickets are selling super fast for the shows with 28Days this weekend in Barwon Heads and Frankston so make sure you get yours before they're all gone!!

We've also just been announced to play at the upcoming Sounds Loud Festival at Queens Park in April. This is a free all ages show on Sunday April 11th, we hope to see all of you there!

Last shows for the year!

Well we've just wrapped up our shows with the always amazing Bodyjar and 28 Days. All the shows were awesome and we had such a great few weeks with the guys and their crew!

We got plenty of footage of all the shenanigans, so I'm sure it will surface somewhere along the line!!

Ok, so we have two final shows for the year, both happening this weekend. Tomorrow night, 27th Nov, we head to Cranbourne for an all ages show (details on the shows page), then on Sunday we play the ROAR @ Billboards show with some amazing bands such as Twelve Foot Ninja and Rook.
We'd LOVE to see you all come out to these shows, as these will be our last for a little while.

On the 10th, 11th and 12th of December we'll be hitting the studio to demo 2 or 3 brand new songs. We're SO freakin excited about this new stuff and we can not WAIT for you guys to hear it. As soon as they're ready we'll whack them up on our myspace etc for you all to hear.

Bodyjar Tour starts THIS WEEK!

So right now I'm pretty much feeling like a kid on Christmas Eve... all excited and unable to sleep properly!! There's mere days left before we hit the road with one of our all time favorite bands, Bodyjar. I'm not sure if I'm more excited about sharing a stage, or just the fact that I get to see them live every night! Either way I can't freakin wait!

The first two shows this weekend are on Friday night at Karova Lounge in Ballarat, then Saturday night at the Nash in Geelong. Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces!

In other BCE news, we've been busy writing songs for our next record, and so far we've got about 5 or 6 newbies. At the end of the Jar tour we're gonna be demoing at least one of these and getting up on the Myspace player here for you all to check out. If you're a fan of our first two ep's, and A Revelation For Despair, then I've got a feeling you're going to like what's in store for the next album. We've got a few more little surprises coming up in the next few months too, but I'm not gonna give away too many secrets, so you'll just have to wait a lil longer.

New drummer, new pics, new lotsa stuff!

Boys and girls! What's up??

Well we're absolutely stoked to announce that Mr Dan (Kerbs) Kerby will now be a permanent member of BCE. Those of you here in Melbourne and the surrounds may have seen him with us on the last few Melbourne shows. He's an amazing drummer and you can check out some of his stuff at www.youtube.com/behindcrimsoneyes

In other news, we've been busy tucked away in our little studio writing some brand new material with this awesome new drummer of ours. The new stuff is sounding amazing. It's heavy, melodic, and reminiscent of our Pavour days.

Not long now till the Bodyjar shows, and we've also got a couple of FreezA shows thrown in during November too, so if you're in those areas make sure you come along!

Hittin the road to farewell the Jar!

Hey guys..

We're absolutely stoked, and in a way saddened, to be joining the almighty Bodyjar on their last EVER national tour. This is a band that has influenced each of us in BCE in one way or another, and to have been asked by the guys themselves to play these shows with them is truly an honour.

Check out all the dates on the shows page, as we'll only be playing the Victorian and Queensland leg of the tour.

Also joining us on for most of the shows will be 28 Days... coming out of hibernation to once again wreak havoc on the world.

Uh huh. In yesterday's (Sunday) Herald Sun here in Melbourne it listed the top 20 Myspace artists in Victoria, where we came in at number 3!
Not a bad effort if you ask me!!

Meltdown!!

What's up internerds!??

We've been having an absolute blast playing these shows with our new friends Cola Wars. What a band! Tomorrow we head off to do three shows in NSW including tomorrow night at Bizzo's Caringbah, Friday at Club 77.. and Saturday night we're doing a free show in Maitland!

We've also just announced another show we'll be doing in Wodonga in a few weeks with our mates Calling All Cars and The Galvatrons. It's called Meltdown, it's on the 28th of August, and it's gonna be awesome!

Bloody Wyong!

Haha... good ol' Wyong never fails to unimpress us!! Firstly, thanks to everyone who came along to the show on Sunday. It was entertaining to say the least! A big thank you also to all the bands who played the show with us...
We'd like to especially thank the invisible sound guy (well he wasn't exactly invisible... he would just disappear to the bar when he was supposed to be mixing bands!?) for doing an AMAZING job. Never heard a venue sound so ahh... hmm.. oh, and big ups to the freak who tried to steal a box of our merch while we were playing haha! You're lucky it was Garth who saw you...

The other shows were awesome though, had a blast playing with some amazing bands, especially 12 Foot Ninja. Amazing band, amazing dudes. Check em out whenever u can!

This week we're back home, starting tomorrow night at the Espy with the awesome Cola Wars!! It's in the front bar, which means it's free entry, and kicks off around 9pm!! Friday sees us back in Geelong, and then we head to Bendigo on Sunday!

NSW & ACT this week!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the first run of residency shows over the last weekend!! It's been a long time since we'd played shows in Ballarat and Geelong and had a blast playing the Espy again! Thanks to all the rad bands who we shared the stage with also.

We'll be hitting up the ANU Bar in Canberra this Thursday night before we head to Sydney and Manly for more shows. We'll be doing ONE all ages show on this run which will be on Sunday at the Chilli lounge in Wyong!!

We also just received word that the show on the 8th of August in Maitland is now FREE entry!! No excuse now for all you tight asses! Haha!
